We’re excited to focus on key areas like empowering new generations, helping communities thrive, promoting inclusivity, and embracing sustainable solutions. Through these efforts, we’re committed to contributing to a brighter and more inclusive future!
Empowering New Generations
We believe that the future belongs to the next generation of engineers and innovators. That’s why we’re dedicated to supporting students by offering in-kind product donations and sponsoring student projects.
We’ve already sponsored numerous exciting projects, such as BCIT Racing Club car lift system, stair climbing wheelchair by the University of Waterloo student team, and Princeton Speedboating team boat trailer, to name a few, and we have more coming soon!

Also, in 2024, we teamed up with BCIT engineering clubs, hosting technical workshops that gave students hands-on experience to bring their ideas to life.
As of now, we’re about to enter into a partnership with FIRST British Columbia, a non-profit organization that arranges robotics competitions for school-age children, providing products and guidance to help inspire the engineers of tomorrow. By supporting young minds, we’re investing in the future of innovation and positive change.
Helping Communities Thrive
At Progressive Automations, we know that strong communities are built when everyone has access to the tools they need to succeed. As part of our commitment to helping communities thrive, we’ve collaborated with local charities – Brands for Canada and Family Services of Greater Vancouver – to donate our products to people in need and help improve their daily lives. In addition, we offer financial help to low-income families living in difficult circumstances and provide them with essential goods.
Looking ahead, we plan to work with organizations that support people with disabilities and those focusing on spinal health issues. By doing so, we’ll continue to make a real difference in people’s lives, especially by promoting workspace ergonomics that help reduce back pain — something we’re passionate about at Progressive Desk.
Promoting Inclusivity
Inclusivity is a core value of our CSR initiative. We actively support engineering projects focused on inclusivity, particularly those aimed at improving daily lives of individuals with limited mobility. In 2024, we are proud to have supported projects that improved the quality of life for people with mobility challenges. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to enjoy freedom and accessibility in their daily lives.
Embracing Sustainable Solutions
We’re also taking steps to minimize our environmental impact by focusing on sustainability. We’ve made our packaging 95% recyclable, reducing waste and contributing to a healthier planet. Additionally, we support engineering projects that prioritize sustainability, recognizing that every little bit helps when it comes to protecting the environment.
As part of our commitment to the planet, we’ve introduced company-wide initiatives like Earth Day, where our team collects used clothing and donates it to local charities and non-profits. It’s a small step, but one that reflects our dedication to both the environment and our communities.
